Sid Paul Davis, Sr., 79 passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family.   Mr. Davis was born on July 15, 1938 in Beaufort County. He was the son of Myrtle Madelyn and Daniel Clifton Davis.

A Celebration of Mr. Davis’ life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Belhaven with Pastor William Creech officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 pm in Zion’s Chapel Church of Christ in Roper.
