Pearl Dunbar Hathaway, age 91, formerly of Pantego, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27 at Pinehurst Nursing Center in Pinehurst, NC.

She is survived by her sister Mary Alice Narron of Rocky Mount; daughter Judy Mendiola of Honolulu, HI; son James Hathaway of Pinehurst; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering is planned for Oct. 4 from 4-6pm at the home of Bill and Carissa Benfield at 1200 Bethlehem Rd. in Rocky Mount. Call (252) 450-0416 for info.
