Members of the Beaufort County Choral Society met at First Presbyterian Church for a reception before rehearsal Thursday night in honor of BCCS President Judi Hickson, who is stepping down from her role of six years with the organization. Hickson (left) passes on the position to Wendy Thienpont.

BCCS rehearses Thursdays from 7-9 p.m., and their next concert is a performance of Handel’s Messiah and a Messiah sing-along on Dec. 1-2 at the Turnage Theatre. All are welcome to join BCCS. For more information, call 252-975-2625.
