Mrs. Dora Ann Roberson Willey, age 67, a resident of Jones Circle, Chocowinity, died Saturday, October 14, 2107 at her home.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Pastor Georgette Redmond and Pastor Daryl Kelly.

The family received friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at her home.

Mrs. Willey was born in Beaufort County on July 11, 1950. She was the daughter of E. Council Roberson and Edna Mae Gurganus Roberson. Mrs. Willey was a retired surgical technician with Beaufort County Hospital. In her spare time, she loved to read, cook and shop. Mrs. Willey loved her grandchildren.

In 1971, she married Richard Allen Willey, who survives.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Elizabeth Welch and husband,

Brandon of Bath, Peyten Holmes and husband, Joshua of Cary; sister, Carolyn Alligood of Washington; six grandchildren, Haley Welch, Callie Welch, Gatlin Jarvis, Zachary Holmes, Merrick Holmes, Keegan Welch; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willey was preceded in death by four brothers, Jack Roberson, Virgil Roberson, Franklin Avery, Kirby Avery; and one sister, Sylvia Barwick.
