Mrs. Alberta Nixon Chesson, 66, of 8637 Mackeys Road, Roper, N.C., passed away November 8, 2017 at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Bethel Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 10893 N.C. 32 North, Roper. Bishop Samuel Smith Sr. will officiate.

Committal service will follow in Bethel Church of Christ Church Cemetery, Roper.
