Mr. Lonnie Bruce McLawhorn Jr., age 41, a resident of Black Mountain, and a former resident of Chocowinity and Vanceboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at his home. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Chocowinity. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at the church.
