Alfred “Boot” Whitfield, 55, of 504 W. Queen St., LaGrange, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, LaGrange. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 16, 2017, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Trinity Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. of Kinston.
