Nika J. Smith, 41, of 625 Mile Road, Vanceboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, in Vanceboro. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Burning Bush United Holy Church, Vanceboro. Burial will follow in the Nobles Family Cemetery. A public viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at the funeral home.

At other times, the family will receive friends at residence, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession. Arrangements are by Trinity Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. of Kinston.
