Mr. Burtram Eugene “Gene” Wilson, age 76, a resident of Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017. He was born April 1, 1941, to the late Mildred (Eddingfield) Wilson and Bertram Woodrow Wilson in Lebanon, Missouri. He retired from the U.S. Navy and later retired from WTKR-TV, Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers; Michael and John Wilson. Survivors include his wife, Kaylene DeLee (McLain) Wilson, two daughters: Jamie (Wilson) Smith of Disputanta, Virginia, and Angie Beth Wilson of Monett, MO, three sons: Mark Wilson of Marionville, MO, Dustin Wilson and Jeffrey Wilson both of Elizabeth City. Also surviving is one sister, Donna Davis-Hotchkiss of Harrisonville, MO, and one brother, Dale Wilson of Monett, MO. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be announced.
