Rebecca “Becky” Bass Tippett, 63, of Cove City and formerly of Goldsboro, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ashby Wade Tippett, Sr.; her two children, Jennifer Tippett Wetherington (Jeremy) and Ashby Wade Tippett, Jr; and two grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at Asbury United Methodist Church fellowship hall, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Asbury U.M.C. Building Fund, 1780 Asbury Road, Cove City, NC 28523.
