Cornelius Van Dorp, 84, a resident of Chocowinity, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home in Washington. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at the Covenant United Reform Church in Pantego, officiated by Rev. Calvin Tuininga.
