Julia Godwin “Judy” Phelps, 77, of Creswell, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Chowan River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Edenton. A funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Mount Hermon United Methodist Church, with Reverend Chris O’Briant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family received friends on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Mount Hermon United Methodist Church and other times at the residence.
