Jasper Taylor Swain, 79, of Plymouth died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Greater Victory Temple in Roper, with Bishop Robert Mallory officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery, Plymouth. Family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, from noon until 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
