Ms. Modia Belle Witherspoon, of 2204 Presley Drive, Greenville, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at home. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Washington. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Cemetery in Bethel. Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7p.m. in the Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her son Rev. Garrick Witherspoon, 108 Ore St. in Washington (Iron Creek).
