During the week of February 26–March 2, we cordially invite you to be a guest reader to our Prekindergarten through 5th grade Tyrrell Elementary School students in honor of Dr. Seuss.

This year, we are expanding book selections beyond those of Dr. Seuss. You may either bring an age-appropriate favorite book to read or choose a book from our extensive library selection.

Based on the teacher’s schedule, you can read a book or help children with writing and learning activities in the classroom.

Guest readers will be assigned to a classroom on a first come, first serve basis by the main office staff. The times are as follows: 8:15 AM (Live on air during our TES Morning News Broadcast) or 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM in classrooms.

Once again, we look forward to your participation in this worthwhile celebration as we share the love of reading with our young learners. Bring your smile and enthusiasm as our children always look forward to guest readers in their class.
