Queen Anne’s Revenge Traveling Exhibit Christens New Bath Exhibit

BATH —The 300th anniversary of the sinking of Blackbeard’s flagship is underway with a tour of artifacts recovered from the vessel, Queen Anne’s Revenge. The traveling QAR exhibit will be on display in the new Bath Exhibit Hall (formerly the northwest wing of the old Bath High School) from March 1 to May 31. The exhibit is free.
The ribbon cutting and grand opening for the QAR Traveling Exhibit will be Friday, March 2, 11:30 a.m. A short program and light refreshments will follow.
Start your 2018 year of the pirate off right! See cannonballs, gun flint, spikes and other items last touched by pirates. The exhibit is traveling across the state through next January and providing information and education on piracy.
