William “Buddy” Stuart Lawrence, Jr., 71 of Roper, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, in Roanoke Landing Nursing Home in Plymouth.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, in the Plymouth Church of God. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 2 p.m. until the service hour and at other times at the home of Wendy and Noah Roberson, 6869 N.C. Highway 32 North, Roper. Arrangements are by Sawyer Funeral Home.
