Gloria “Jackie” Tuten Wynne, 85, of Everetts, died, March 1, 2018.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Martin Memorial Gardens, 1218 U.S. Highway 64, Williamston, officiated by Dr. Greg Barmer, minister of First Baptist Church in Washington. Family will receive friends after the graveside services.

Born in Beaufort County, Feb. 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Hazel H. Tuten. She attended Bath and Washington schools and Martin Community College. She retired with 31 years of service with the Martin County Schools.

Preceded in death by her husband, Russell B. Wynne; son, Bobby; brothers, William W. and Gene T. Tuten.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy, of Everetts; daughter, Gloria W. Blake and husband Chuck; grandchildren Robert and Bailey, of Kinston; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Susan Tuten; sister, Joyce T. Milligan; and sisters-in-law, Kay Deckard Tuten and Nina Leggett, several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Tonette Speller.
