William Edward “Ed” Shackelford, 70, of Cherry Street, Bethel, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Vidant Memorial Hospital. A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 2p.m. at the Bethel Cemetery. Rev. Heath Faircloth and Rev. Delmus Ayers will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Walker’s Ayers Chapel and from the home at other times. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
