Bernice R. James, 85, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the James Cemetery, Lightwood Bridge Road in the Cypress Creek area. The family will receive friends at the homes of her children and immediately following the service. Arrangements are by Joseph B. Paul Jr., funeral director licensee of Washington.
