Jeffrey Leon Dawson, 54, formerly of Vanceboro, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Valley Nursing Center in Taylorsville. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the St. Augustus A.M.E. Zion Church. Entombment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park. A public viewing will be held Friday, May 4, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
