Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Honey

Beautiful and as sweet as her name, our tabby girl is very loving; she’ll engage you in conversation the minute she sees you! At approximately 3 years old, Honey is packed with plenty of personality, and she loves to be held, petted and showered with affection. Elegantly dressed in her American medium-hair coat of buff, honey colors and dark brown, a rosebud nose and pale green eyes, she’s a feast for the eyes. Lucy

This adorable, 5-year-old Pomeranian-Standard Poodle mix is just as cute as can be, and she’s already spayed and ready to go home with you, right after her reduced fee is paid. Lucy, a friendly, smart dog that loves to be loved and fussed over, is a medium-size girl with warm, brown, heart-melting eyes, a soft, blonde coat and a delightful personality. She will make a wonderful pet, companion and confident in a variety of good, loving, forever home settings. Lucy’s ID is No. 0446.
