Jack Lawrence Burgess, 57, died Sunday, May 20, 2018. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m.  Thursday, May 24, 2018, in Edwards Cemetery, Chocowinity. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service, which is in charge of arrangements.
