Charles “Charlie” William McPherren, of Oak City, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at Vidant Hospital in Tarboro. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Oak City Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oak City Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family received Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Oak City Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
