Annie Mae Taylor Everette

Mrs. Annie Mae Taylor Everette, 80, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. A visitation will be Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston. A funeral service will be Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The service will officiated by Pastor Ward Sullivan and William Roberson.

Mrs. Everette is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean Gurganus and husband Timmie, of Bear Grass, and Jo Ann Gurganus and husband Roger, of Bear Grass; a son, Jack Everette and wife Laurie, of Bear Grass. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Taylor and wife Joyce, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Lonnie Taylor, of Chocowinity; three sisters, Melba Sayers and husband Don, of Washington, and Jackie Ayers and husband Donald, of Bear Grass, and Faye Appoloney and husband Pete, of Winterville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Annie Ingalls Taylor, her husband, Eugene Everette, and a brother, Delmus Taylor.

Mrs. Everette was a member of Sweet Home Church of Christ and really enjoyed attending each service. She loved to cook and garden. Mrs. Everette was owner and operator of Everett’s grocery in Bear Grass for over 30 years. She also loved fishing. She was loved and will be missed by all family and friends.
