Mr. David Bruce Ragland, age 68, a resident of Bath, died Friday, June 29, 2018.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

Mr. Ragland was born in Washington County on Feb. 24, 1950, to the late Jack Perkins Ragland and Beatrice Samples Ragland. He was the warehouse manager at Charcoal Service Corporation/Flanders in Bath until his retirement. Mr. Ragland was a gun enthusiast, and he loved the solitude of camping in the mountains.

Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Ragland, of the home; two daughters, Beverly Marslender and husband Chris, of Clayton, Debra Ragland and Rebecca, of Bath; and four grandchildren, Ryan Marslender, Caroline Marslender, Gary Buck and Connor Buzzell.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Ragland, and his sister, Sarah Lorraine Mosley.
