4-H Summer Camp

During the week of June 24-29, 2018, the Eastern 4-H Center hosted a FULL house for 4-H summer camp. Reaching camp capacity with 125 campers, 4-H groups from Warren, Currituck, Edgecomb, Hyde, Nash, Perquimans, Bertie, Camden, Martin, Hertford and Gates counties attended the Eastern 4-H Center’s summer camp and adventure camp programs for a week of fun-filled activities including kayaking, canoeing, archery, rockwall climbing, high ropes, team challenge course, crabbing, s’mores at the campfire circle, and more!

Now that the summer has officially started, remaining camper spaces are limited. Overnight camp spaces are still available for Camp Canvasback (July 15-20, 2018), Cloverbud Camp (July 15-19, 2018) and 4-H Summer Camp (August 5-10, 2018) and available first registered, first served basis. For families that live near the Eastern 4-H Center, Columbia, NC, day camp may be a better option for your child (ages 5-12 years old). There are two weeks left of day camp, July 23-27, 2018 and August 6-10, 2018.
