James Durham Hardison, 84, of N.C. Highway 171, Williamston, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Christian Church. The Rev. Corey Goss and Minister Jerry Norris will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hardison Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Fairview Christian Church and from the home at other times. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
