Albemarle Church of Christ hosts revival speaker, Bob Moulden

COLUMBIA – Bob Moulden will be the revival speaker at Albemarle Church of Christ, Sunday, July 29 – Wednesday, August 1. Services will begin at 8 p.m. each evening and will include gospel singing and preaching.

On Sunday evening Moulden will be joined by his daughter, Kim Moulden, and Cheryl Resoass, as they present the message through a gospel music concert. The ladies are Plymouth area residents and sing with Moulden as “Servant’s Song.” Moulden is the retired minister at Plymouth Church of Christ, having served there from 1979 through 2014. He is a 1973 graduate of Roanoke Bible College (now Mid-Atlantic Christian University) in Elizabeth City. He has served churches in Virginia and North Carolina and during college sang with “The Spokesmen Quartet,” conducting youth revivals and crusades. He has been and remains active in the community life of Washington County. He is described as an experienced evangelist with a powerful message. Former minister Raffael Farrow and wife Beth will also be on hand to present special messages in song. Farrow is now minister at Swan Quarter Christian Church in Hyde County. “Visitors are welcomed,” according to Albemarle Church of Christ officials. “There will be special music as well as preaching and fellowship.” Albemarle Church of Christ which was built before the War Between the States, is the oldest church building in Tyrrell County. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. with Morning worship following at 11 a.m. “If you are looking for a church family we invite you to attend our revival and visit with us,” church officers said. The church is located at 3540 Albemarle Church Road.
