The 48th annual Blackland Farm Managers’ Tour will be held Wednesday, August 1, at 3B Farms, 2200 Respess Road, Pinetown, Andrea Gibbs, Hyde-Tyrrell County Agriculture Extension Agent, has announced.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. with opening remarks at 8 a.m. and a catered lunch at noon. Program ends at 2 p.m.

Guest speaker will be Dr. Fred Below, professor of plant physiology at the University of Illinois.

Presentations will be given by Dr. Ron Heiniger, Dr. Rachel Vann, Dr. Dominic Reisig,  Dr. Wes Everman, Dr. Charlie Cahoon, Dr. Carl Crozier, Dr. David Hardy, Ryan Heiniger, and several ag agents.

Pesticide (2 hours X, N, D, O credits) and CCA credits will be available.
