John (Jack) Francis Wilroy Jr, 65, born on Oct. 25, 1952, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Emily Latham Credle Wilroy, 64, born Oct. 12, 1953, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, July 19, 2018.

They are survived by their children, Mary Cathering Holsclaw (Bobby), of Durham, Joshua John Wilroy (Theresa), of Durham and Mayhew Seth Wilroy of New York, New York; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Jack is survived by his father, John Francis Wilroy, of Boykin, Virginia, and was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Gibbs Wilroy.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver (Buster) Jarvis Credle and Mary Emily Paul Credle. She is survived by a brother, Oliver Paul Credle (Lisa) of Tullahoma, Tennessee and sisters Nellie (Nell) Miles Credle of Washington; three nephews and four cousins.
