Washington Noon Rotary hosts Ret. Army Colonel

Scott Barker (Ret. Col, US Army) spoke at the Monday, July 30, Washington (noon) Rotary meeting. Colonel Barker presented on the recent development of Community Veteran Engagement Boards by the Veterans Administration to help connect with local veterans and to welcome government, nonprofits and other businesses as partners in seeing to veteran needs in the communities.
Scott is director of the Eastern Carolina Veterans Coalition, one of several CVEBs in North Carolina. He lives in Greenville and is also a procurement counselor for Small Business and Technology Development Center and an adjunct instructor in East Carolina University’s International Studies Department.
