Alma Swindell Ferrell, 82, of Aurora passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

She enjoyed working in her yard and loved spending time with family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Massie Swindell; husband, Jacob K. Ferrell Sr. and brother, Vernon Swindell Sr.

She is survived by her son Jacob K. Ferrell Jr. (Tammy), daughter Sherry F. Mackey, brother Sammy “Little Boy” Swindell (Catherine), sister Linda Bray, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 22nd at Bryant Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Barnett Cemetery, Hobucken. Arrangements by Bryant Funeral Home & Crematory, Alliance.
