Alvin Lee Melvin, 62, of Plymouth, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Pastor Steve Creech officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, following the service at Maitland Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
