Mrs. Mary “Louise” King, of 1505 New Garden Road, Greensboro, and a former long-time resident of Washington, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at Hospice Home At High Point. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Davenport’s Temple Church of God and Christ, 2575 W. Fifth St. Washington. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., one hour prior to service at the church. Other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Ms. Robena Harris, 616 Washington St., Washington.
