Russell Smith, 91, of Creswell, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at Chowan River Nursing and Rehab Center, Edenton. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at 1 p.m., at Scuppernong Church of Christ in Creswell, with Cleve Edwards and Bill Griffin officiating. A funeral service and burial to be held in Kermit, Texas, will be announced at a later date.
