Evangelist Mary Louise Powell-Brown died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at Martin General Hospital, Williamston. Visitation will be held at Mercedes’ Funeral Mansion from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, followed by a memorial gospel concert at Mt. Carmel The Way of the Cross Church, 113 Little St., Williamston. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at United Holy Church of Deliverance, 611 Warren St., Williamston., with Apostle Irvin Brown officiating. Interment will be in Brown’s Cemetery, Williamston. The family will be receiving friends at the Brown family home, 407 Jamesville Road, Williamston. Arrangements are by Mercedes’ Funeral Mansion, 310 Washington St., Williamston.
