U.S. Army Specialist E-4 Melvin Spruill, of 987 W. Ninth St., Washington, departed life on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, while stationed in Germany. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at St. John Church of Christ, DOC. There will be a visitation at the New Beginning Chapel on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home at 987 W. Ninth St., Washington. Arrangements are by New Beginning Funeral Services and Cremation, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
