Julie White, North Carolina’s deputy secretary of multi-modal transportation, is scheduled to visit airports in the northeast region on September 25, Angela Walsh, director of the Albemarle Rural Planning Organization, announced August 17.
White is slated to visit Dare County Regional Airport, Currituck County Regional Airport, and Elizabeth City Regional Airport.
“Since we cannot physically visit all of the airports in the ARPO region that day, Hyde County Airport, Northeastern Regional Airport, and Plymouth Municipal Airport managers have been invited to attend the tour as well,” Walsh said.
White oversees the operations of the Rail Division, Division of Public Transportation, Division of Aviation, Ferry Division, and Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation.
She earned a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina State University and is a graduate of the Leadership North Carolina program.
