Marie Wynne Davis, of Academy Street, Williamston, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

Marie was born in Martin County to the late John L. and Winnie Mobley Wynne and predeceased by a brother, Edward Wynne and two sisters, Eunice Perry and Betty Lou Edwards. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Williamston and was a retired bookkeeper with several employers.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Greenleaf Memorial Park, 900 River Road, in New Bern. The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, John Carter Davis; daughter, Emma Beth Baker and husband, Robert; grandson, Dustin Davis; great-granddaughter, Anzley Kemmerer; sister, Joyce Perry.
