Pocosin Lakes Refuge – A Native Eastern United States Frog

JUMPING LEOPARD Named for it’s leopard-like skin spots, Southern Leopard Frogs are native to eastern United States. They’re an important part of the food chain. They are eaten by larger frogs, large fish, a variety of birds, raccoons, river otters & snakes. You can see them on Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge and other regional national wildlife refuges.
