Cardiologist joins the medical staff at Martin General Hospital

WILLIAMSTON — Cardiologist Jose Jacob, MD, FACP, FACC has joined the medical staff of Martin General Hospital and will lead the Williamston Heart & Vascular clinic. A longtime resident of eastern North Carolina, Jacob has nearly 20 years of experience in invasive cardiology with focus areas in interventional and invasive cardiology.
He is fully credentialed to provide treatments including invasive cardiology, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, Pacemaker implantation, nuclear cardiology procedures, angiograms, stent placement, echocardiograms and pulmonary angiograms. Jacob will also provide congestive heart failure clinics and Pacemaker clinics.
Jacob is board certified in adult cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He completed his medical training at St. John’s National Academy of Internal Medicine in Karnataka, India. He completed his residency at Coney Island Hospital Department of Internal Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, and his cardiology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital Division of Cardiology in New York, New York.
