Miss North Carolina 2018, Laura Matrazzo, will be a special guest at the Scuppernong River Festival in Columbia on October 13. Laura, 23 and a Chapel Hill resident, graduated from Clemson University with a BS degree in Marketing. Her personal platform for the year is about financial literacy. She is traveling the state speaking about the importance of understanding money, investing, budgeting and tax planning. She is an accomplished tap dancer, has worked in sports marketing for the Clemson Tigers and recently competed in the Miss America Pageant.
