Earl McKever Mattocks, 82, of 23541 N.C. Highway 33 East, Aurora, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation, Grantsboro. The family is receiving friends at the residence. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at New Bern Eastern M. B. Association Headquarters, 885 N.C. Highway 306, Grantsboro. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery, Florence community of Merritt. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary.
