Mr. Larry Ray Walker, age 63, a resident of Washington, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018. No services will be held.

Mr. Walker was born Jan. 23, 1954, in Charleston City, West Virginia, to the late Ray Oliver Walker and Nina Lee Silverthorne Walker. He worked with the City of Washington’s Water Plant for 20 years, retiring in 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Rugel Walker, of Washington; his son, Thomas Ray Walker, of Washington; his sister, Peggy Bruce, of Atlanta, Georgia, and a cousin, Penny Swain, of Robersonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chocowinity Veterinary Hospital, 1098 NC Hwy. 33 East, Chocowinity, NC 27817.
