BRIDGE IN: The bridge over Duck Creek on Hawkins Beach Road was repaired Thursday, allowing residents and visitors in and out for the first time since Hurricane Florence hit last week. The bridge was inundated with storm surge from the Category 1 hurricane and made impassable for vehicles.
