COLUMBIA – Vendor applications for the 27 th Annual Scuppernong River Festival are still being accepted by festival organizers. Applications are available on the

Town of Columbia web site which is townofcolumbianc.com. Applications are also available at the Town of Columbia Municipal Building, 103 Main Street.

The Scuppernong River Festival, Saturday, October 13, 2018, offers an opportunity for local food, crafts and merchandise vendors to sell their offerings during a day- long street festival in the Columbia downtown. Over 8,000 visitors are expected to flood the town of 867 residents for the Main Street Parade sponsored by First National Bank, music, entertainment, rides and amusements for children, food, helicopter rides, fireworks and musical concert by The Original Rhondells.

Food vendors will set up along Broad Street between US-64/Scuppernong Drive and Bridge Street. Arts, craft and merchandise vendors will display their wares along Main Street. Food vendors can reserve a twelve by twelve foot space for $150.

Other vendors will pay $50 for a single ten feet by ten feet display space. Power is not provided so if power is needed vendors will need to bring their own generators.

Food vendors will also be responsible for disposing of their used grease.
