Melvin Brown, 68, of 4050 Dover Road, Cove City, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Alum Spring Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service at the church. The family will assemble at 1165 Dover Road, Cove City, in preparation for the service. Funeral arrangements are by Trinity Memorial Funeral Home of Kinston.
