Monica Woolard Godley, 46, of Chocowinity, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018. She was born July 14, 1972, to the late Carson and Sylvia Woolard. Monica graduated from Chocowinity High School in 1990 and continued her education at Pitt Community College, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Monica would spend her free time at the beach and caring for others.

She is survived by her son, William “Cole” Godley; daughter, Kirsten Godley Sheppard and husband Joshua; and sister, Tammy Woolard Kidd.

A graveside service will be held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington, on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at 2 p.m.
