Music will fill the historic Turnage Theatre in October, so mark your calendars and come downtown!
On Friday, the United States Air Force Jazz Ensemble took the stage at 7:30 p.m. to delight fans with great live jazz music. This family-friendly concert was presented for free with donations appreciated.
Today is the celebration of the anniversary of Arts of the Pamlico affiliate, Rock the Pamlico. The Anniversary Concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets for this concert are $7 cash and $9 via credit card. The lineup for the show will be CC&T, an acoustic duo, Nite Flyer, and headliner 4 Asses & A Mule from the Ayden area.
On Oct. 12, The Outboards, led by local boy Adam Brinson, performs in the Turnage Gallery as the Fall Art Walk and AOP’s new Drum Circle group ends its performance at the theatre. Doors open for The Outboards at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. concert. Tickets are $10 cash or $12 credit card/PayPal.
Oct. 18, BCTMA hosts Shannon Baker and the Classic Stepbacks at 7 p.m. Donations are appreciated for this free concert at the Turnage Theatre.
The 2nd-annual Arts of the Pamlico Blues & Jazz Festival will be in Festival Park on Oct. 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with four bands sharing their talents.
And on Oct. 25, the Beaufort County Concert Association kicks off its season at the Turnage Theatre with Not Fade Away. Contact the association for details and tickets.
